OPEN 20. Edition of the legendary, Chinese International Performance Art festival was held in 2019 for the first Time outside of China – in Parts of Europe. The Chinese performance artists, who were on their European tour in the art pavilion Burgbrohl Station, showed in collaboration with artists of the action labs PAErsche a performative encounter.
The frame of this encounter as open game consisted of the interactions between the artists and interventions in the surrounding space. The artists shared the room for the duration of three hours and their simultaneous individual practice used unknown open sources for the interaction. This artistic way of working is not only used for finding and compaction of ideas, but aims at the level of the Dialogue is a reciprocal link and multifaceted link between the artist, artwork and location, as well as the involvement of the viewer.
