A thematic group exhibition DIE KUNST DER DRUCKGRAFIK with works by Manfred Hammes (+2006), Sophia Pechau Titus Lerner and Karin Meiner. The exhibition showed a spectrum of traditional printing techniques, e.g. etching, aquatint, linocut and screen printing combined with digital printing. The first anniversary of the German UNESCO Commission's inclusion of artistic printing techniques in the nationwide Intangible Cultural Heritage List was an occasion to contribute to the communication of the art of printing with a variety of activities, thus drawing attention to its importance for culture in Germany.

The Day of the Printing Arts was celebrated nationwide on March 15, 2019, under the patronage of the Federal Association of Visual Artists.

The KunstWerkstatt in the Kunstpavillon offered workshops on PRINTING GRAPHICS for children and the whole family on 10.3./ 15.3./ 17.3./ 24.3.2019, each from 14:00 to 17:00.
