Rieke Köster has learned the art pavilion Burgbrohl and the Region in the context of an excursion of the project "art of Mentoring" in the summer of 2018 and the idea of a research stay developed. The artist works through a process of transforming the perceived, in the process, they used the Hiking and Go as a tool by which they tried to let the environment and the nature of penetration.

Collected impressions to be translated through artistic means in abstract drawings, texts, photography, collages or installations. Color, Sand, paper, wood or found objects are artistic Material and meet in a work.

Rieke Köster was born in 1985 and studied from 2010 to 2016, fine arts (sculpture and painting) at the Mainz Academy of arts. In 2016, she graduated as a master student. In 2016, she received the best student grant from the lions club of Mainz, and in 2018 the state of Rhineland-Palatinate, the Residency at Schloss Wiepersdorf. In 2019, her Work in the Arp Museum Bahnhof Rolandseck were shown in the context of the scholarship of the exhibition "designing the future".
