Yingmei Duan – ARTIST-IN-RESIDENCE
Presentation in collaboration with the guest artist Yingmei Duan the Videos and interactive objects with 30 residents of the Region on 21. and 22. September in the art pavilion Burgbrohl and in the Old school in Lützingen.
Will be opened on 21.9. 19 PM with a welcome by the mayor of the Verbandsgemeinde Brohltal John Bell, an introduction by Jürgen Bernhard Look and a Live Performance with Yingmei Duan to the issued, Videos and interactive objects.
The exhibition is also open on Sunday, 22.9.2019 from 10 to 18 PM in the art pavilion, and in the Old school.
People play in the artistic work of the Chinese artist, who since 1998 has lived in Germany, too, a very important role. Over the years, she has worked with a variety of partners on various continents together Collaborative Performance, Object Interactive Performance and Objects & Video, Interactive Performances developed. In her current Guest, invited by AIM, cultural projects in rural areas e. V., she has met with more than 30 people between 11 and 91 years, regularly and in a collaborative process to create each Video object is developed.
AIM e. V. is a carrier of the Artist-in-Residence program in the art pavilion Burgbrohl and is very happy that the town and municipality has given to the art project, at any time, and particularly in the engineering complex final presentation.
